Robinson Crusoe Island is a secluded Fiji Beach Resort with clean Affordable Fiji Island Accommodation. Departs: Robinson Crusoe Jetty @ 10.00 am (Mon, Wed & Sat) for a 45 minute calm water River and Lagoon Cruise to the Sacred Island of Likuri, also known as Robinson Crusoe Island.

Includes:
  • Fire walking and our famous South Pacific Island Dance Show
  • A sumptuous Island Lovo Feast of chicken, fish and ham served with crispy salads and tropical fruits.
  • A snorkelling trip to our fringing coral reef, crab racing, coconut tree climbing, coconut tasting and demonstration, sea kayaks and a jungle bush walk led by a crazy medicine man.
  • Visit an ancient pottery site dating back 3,500 years which was discovered on the island.
  • Boat Returns to Robinson Crusoe Jetty at 5pm.

PROFILE

Pick up at all major Hotels commencing 8:00am for a 45 minutes coach transfer to the Robinson Crusoe Island Jetty, then a 10.0am departure for a half hour  River Cruise down the Tuva River.
On approach to the island be wary of the cannibals as a cannibal attack is likely!  Be prepared with your camera as this is a good photo opportunity as the cannibals are in traditional dress with weapons in hand.

After a great beach welcome by our staff & occasionally some of our in-house guests, you will have free time to go Fishing, Stand up Paddle Boarding, Massage or a refreshing drink from our Wreck Bar (All at extra cost)

Enjoy a Free Activity like kayaking, swim in the pool or in our private lagoon or perhaps some snorkeling on our nearby coral reef. Take our Jungle Bush Walk or just laze on the beach, catch some sun and look at the magnificent island scenery.

Watch as the staff climb the coconut tree to retrieve coconuts, and then take part in our juice tasting demonstration fresh from the coconuts.

Guests then meander over to the Lovo pit where Fijian traditions and cooking Lovo style is explained. When the food is taken out of the Lovo our Fijian warriors walk the hot stones and coals then it’s on to a fresh healthy lunch consisting of garden salads, chicken, ham and fish all served buffet style. Our traditional Kavaholic Band plays island guitars & sings whilst you enjoy your lunch. Our fantastic & world famous South Pacific & Fijian Dance Spectacular Show begins with traditional Fijian Warrior dances, Traditional Polynesian, Melanesian & South Pacific Dances with Knife Dancing and to finish off our spectacular Fire Dance. A fabulous finish to a great show.

After all the excitement of the show guests can either once again board our snorkeling boat “Adi Katarina” or “Fijian Princess” to take a short trip out to our magnificent coral reef for some snorkeling. Alternatively, those guests who would rather remain on the island, can take our Jungle Bush Walk with one of our guides who explains all the traditional methods of using plants which grow naturally on our island, as medicines.

We then venture down to our Turtle viewing area where you may be lucky enough to see one or two, that is followed by our crab race and then finally a very heartfelt “Moce Sota Tale” from all our staff before boarding our boat again at 4.30pm to take the return Jungle Cruise back down the Tuva river back to our Jetty.

PROFILE

Coach pick-up from various Nadi, Denarau and Coral Coast hotels begin at 4pm where you are guided to Robinson Crusoe Island jetty. You will then connect with our boats that will depart our jetty at 5.00pm for a 40 minute jungle river cruise to our protected lagoon.
The sunset cruise will take you to the island with the sounds of Fijian guitars, enjoy a leisurely sundown drink that can be purchased from onboard.

Once the sun has set and on arrival to our beautiful island you will be welcomed by our fabulous Fijian choir, then your traditional island kava ceremony with a difference by the sunset bonfire.

When the ceremony has been completed and everyone has been welcomed the guests then meander over to the Lovo pit where opening of the Lovo and the Traditional Fire Walking takes place. Dinner is then served consisting of Island Roast Feast of Roast Pork, Roast Beef, vegetables & local fijian dishes.

Then the treat that we are famous for, witness Fiji’s original and still the best South Pacific Island and Polynesian cultural dance, knife & spectacular fire dance show.

The whole experience you will not forget, leaving our beach at 9.30pm for the return passage to our jetty for your coach departure back to your hotel.

  • Jump into a Kayak & paddle all around our 28 acre island paradise
  • Have a swim in our pool or take a dip in our beautiful lagoon

Venture down to our Turtle viewing area where you may be lucky enough to see one or two. Then take part in our crab racing – Fiji style. Prizes are given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd racing crabs.

At extra cost perhaps take go Fishing, Stand up Paddle Boarding, Beach Massage or simply enjoy a refreshing drink from our Wreck Bar.

You will have plenty of free time to just sit in a hanging Air Chair reading a book or laze on the beach and top up your tan, look at the magnificent island scenery or just chill out and do nothing.

Sometime around 6.30pm join our Staff & occasionally some of our in-house guests for a great beach welcome and join in with a Traditional Welcome Kava Ceremony right on the beachfront.

The guests then meander over to the Lovo pit where Fijian traditions & cooking Lovo style is explained. When the food is taken out of the Lovo our Fijian warriors walk the hot stones & coals then its onto a fresh healthy dinner consisting of Roast Pork, Roast Beef, Roast Potato, Kumala , Roast Pumpkin, cassava or Dalo, Steamed Fresh Vegetables, Palusami & fresh Bread Rolls all served buffet style. Our traditional Kavaholic Band plays island guitars & sings while you enjoy your dinner.

Our fantastic and world famous South Pacific Island & Fijian Dance Spectacular Show begins with traditional Fijian Warrior dances, Traditional Polynesian, Melanesian & South Pacific Dances with Knife Dance and to finish off our spectacular Fire Dance. A fabulous finish to a great days entertainment.

Then finally a very heartfelt “Moce Sota Tale” from all our staff & some overnight houseguests before boarding our boats again to take the return Jungle Cruise back down the Tuva river back to our Jetty.
